Second Annual Fishing Competition

EPC’s second annual Fish Fest was held recently at Coppice Lane Fishery.

Attended by 18 of our customers and suppliers plus EPC staff, it was a fun way to get together and
enjoy the great outdoors, with the added element of a bit of healthy competition.

The sun was shining and everyone loved the event, including some first-timers who enjoyed learning
how to fish, as well as those who enjoy the sport more regularly.

Dave Bird from Southco not only took first place on the day but also caught the largest ammount
seen at Coppice Lane in a long time. His prize-winning haul weighed in at 100 lb 11 oz.

In second place came EPCs John, who was also master of ceremonies on the day. His prize catches
weighed 86 lb, 9oz.

And in third place was last year’s winner, Mark Williams from Delphi. His fish this year weighed in at
a very respectable 39 lb.

Congratulations to our winners and thank you to everyone who came along and had a go. Jamie,
you must try harder next year – 17lb is a tiddler!
